Our educational system

EDUCATION has always been given top priority in a cultured society. In Pakistan, somehow it is given least priority and is extremely costly.

Besides, the standard of education keeps going down every year. Many graduates are produced without taking into account merit.

During the last two decades a plethora of schools, colleges and coaching centres have been set up. Most of these are making money.

Many students prepare for their examinations by rote learning. Many pass examinations by cheating etc.

Those who are well-off, they go abroad for higher studies. All this frustrates hard-working students.

Therefore, the authorities concerned should look into all these issues and raise the standard of education at par with neighbouring countries like India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
