QUETTA: A man suffocated and his wife fell unconscious on Saturday night after gas from a heater filled their bedroom. The couple was married last week and settled in Killi Geo area near the city.

Sources said they went to bed without switching off the gas heater. They were found unconscious and taken to the Bolan Medical College Hospital where doctors said the man, Abdul Qadir, has died. His unconscious wife was admitted to hospital.
