RO plants installation scheme

KARACHI: The Sindh government will launch the fourth phase of reverse osmosis (RO) plants installation scheme under the Drinking Water Hub (DWH) project in the desert areas of Thar, Badin and Mirpurkhas districts in addition to providing18 RO plants in district west and 10 in each remaining districts of Karachi.

This was decided in a meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah held on Friday to review the implementation of the DWH project.

The chief minister directed the authorities concerned to conduct a survey and prepare the PC-I for phase-four of the DWH project within a month.

He also directed the executing agency concerned to complete the installation of remaining 450 RO plants in district Tharparkar by the end of September.
