Kidnapped Baloch poet released

GWADAR: A Balochi language poet and a teacher who were kidnapped a few days ago have returned home.

Police said poet Ali Kamshan, who is son of leading businessman Seth Sewa of Makran, returned on Wednesday night. He was kidnapped in Pasni.

Police said his kidnappers left him in an area on the outskirts of Pasni town.

It not clear yet whether or not Ali Kamshan’s family has paid ransom for his release.

The schoolteacher, Mohammad Shahdad, returned home in Turbat on Thursday morning, his family said.

Shahdad had been missing for four days from Turbat. He works for a private school.

Meanwhile, the whereabouts of a member of the Levies force, Jalil Ahmed, who was kidnapped in Nasarabad area of Kech district four days ago, could not be known.

Jalil was going home when armed men took him away.
