Man kills wife over frequent fights

TIMERGARA: A man killed his wife in Boota Jabagai village here on Tuesday night over the frequent fights and fled.

The police said the deceased was a mother of four.

The father of killer Saeed Jan refused to hand over the body to the woman’s family.

However, the police stepped in and seized the body before shifting it to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Samarbagh for autopsy.

Her brother claimed that the deceased had been living at his place for many days after leaving her husband’s house over the frequent fights.

He said her father-in-law and brother-in-law convinced the deceased to return home, where her husband gunned her down on Tuesday night and escaped.

Local elders, including Khan Mohammad, Jafar Haji, Yar Mula Khan, Ajab Khan, Yar Mohammad, Amir Mohammad and Haji Sher Mohammad, demanded the early arrest of the killer for exemplary punishment.

The police registered a case and began investigation. However, the killer wasn’t arrested by Wednesday night.
