KASUR: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday visited the family of one of the men lynched in Youhanabad in Lahore.The chief minister condoled with the family of Hafiz Naeem and assured them of justice.

He also presented a cheque for Rs500,000 to the bereaved family as compensation.

The chief minister said 30 suspects had been identified and arrested in connection with the Youhanabad lynching incident. He said a case would be presented in the anti-terrorism court and the Punjab government would supervise it.

Shahbaz further said it was not possible to bring back the victims, but no stone would be left unturned in providing justice to the family.

He also conveyed condolences on behalf of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
