FAISALABAD: Dr Khalid Mahmood Zia, associate professor of the Government College University, Faisalabad, has won the “HEC Best Young Research Scholar Award” in the field of Applied and Basic Sciences.

He belongs to the GCUF Institute of Chemistry.

Dr Zia was given the award in a ceremony held in the HEC Auditorium in Islamabad the other day.

He has to his credit 67 research articles which appeared in international journals.
