THIS is with reference to the article ‘Meet Kashmir’s King Lear and Cordelia’ by Jawed Naqvi (March 5, Page 3), wherein kaafir of the Urdu verse, Zahid-i-tang-i-nazar ne mujhe kaafir jana, has been translated as Hindu. I, being a Hindu, was astonished to read this in your paper. We usually come across this type of derogatory remarks but reading this in Dawn was a surprise.
