KARACHI: The administrator of Karachi metropolitan corporation on Wednesday said the annual Aalmi Mu­shaira or­ganis­ed by the Saknan-i-Shehr-i-Quaid was a symbol of Karachi, and therefore, it was essential to hold it continuously.

Administrator Saqib Ahmed Soomro said this while talking to a delegation of the organisation at his office.

The convener of the organisation, Mehmood Ahmed Khan, requested the administrator to provide cooperation and help for holding the Mushaira.
