ISLAMABAD: A woman was looted of jewellery worth Rs125,000 at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims).

The woman, a resident of Taxila, complained to the Margalla police that she had gone to the hospital to get medicine.

Two persons met the woman at the hospital and offered that they would not only get free medicine for her but would also arrange Rs40,000 from the Benazir Income Support Programme.

A police official said the woman was talking to the two persons when they snatched her gold bangles and fled.
