One more feather in Burka Avenger’s already well-decorated cap. The country’s first 3D full-length animated TV series revolving around a female superhero was last week nominated for the International Emmy Kids Award in the animation category. How cool is that, regardless of winning the prize?

A Pakistani show nominated for its animation brilliance. It is for the first time that a Pakistani show has been nominated for the esteemed award. The ceremony took place on Feb 20 and the producer/director of the project Haroon (pop star) was there representing his team. Kudos to the Burka brigade!
