Amir still has to face challenges: Jalaluddin

ISLAMABAD: Former fast bowler Jalaluddin while terming return of the erstwhile banned fast bowler Mohammad Amir to domestic cricket as first step towards international cricket said on Thursday that the tainted bowler still faced challenges.

“It was Amir’s right to be allowed to play again but I think there are still several challenges the young pacers has to face before making a comeback to the international arena,” he told APP.

Jalaluddin said that Amir’s return to domestic cricket could help him earn a spot in the national team. “Although he is highly talented player, he will have to show performance in the domestic cricket before making a comeback to international cricket,” asserted the former fast bowler.

Facing public would be another challenge for the young bowler.
