ISLAMABAD: Robbers shot and injured a man on Tuesday.

Police said two gunmen riding a motorcycle intercepted Mohammad Waqas Nawaz in G-7/3 and held him at gunpoint. When the gunmen snatched his laptop and tried to grab a mobile phone and cash, Waqas put up resistance. As a result, the robbers shot him and escaped.

The injured was taken to hospital where he was stated to be out of danger.
