Squash talent hunt programme next month

KARACHI: To tap budding talent, Champion Hunt Initiative Programme for Squash (CHIPS) will be launched at PN Roshan Khan-Jahangir Khan squash complex on Feb 1 with Rs1,50,000 at stake in three categories.

A brain-child of squash legend Jahangir Khan, the programme is being organied by Karachi City Squash Association in collaboration with Sindh Squash Association. The programme has been sponsored by Kazim Anwar ADHD Trust (KAAT).

The programme envisaged three events – under-13, under-15 and under-17 for boys.

Last date for submission of entries is Jan 31 and the draws will be taken out the following day after player’s attendance followed by qualifying rounds. The main round takes place from Feb 2 to 5.
