LAHORE: Pakistan’s top female tennis player Ushna Suhail won a match at the ITF Tournament in Sharmalsheikh, Egypt, according to a news release by her family here on Monday.

Ushna defeated Shawky Nermeen of the host country 6-1, 6-1. Ushna, the first Pakistani player who earned the

ITF world rankings recently, will meet Van der Elena in the next round.
