Quaid in school

SOME individuals leave an indelible mark on world history through vision and will power, and make the unthinkable happen. Some are destined to conceive and shape nations and thereby alter the world map. The Quaid-i-Azam was one such person, whose character reminds us that people can achieve anything by subscribing to the golden principle of Unity, Faith and Discipline.

His personality is a shining example of someone who subscribed to the highest moral and ethical values throughout his professional and personal life and never compromised on principles. Well-documented history bears testimony to this effect. Though due to his efforts a new country came into existence, the task of nation building remains unaccomplished to this day.

It is imperative that our young generation is made aware of the epic journey of this great man as a source of constant inspiration for them.

They need to know how simple rules like ‘honesty’ and ‘hard work’ can lead them to the top of the world. A man can do what a man has done.

It is therefore urgently required that every educational institution in Pakistan, right up to the university level, make it an essential part of its curriculum to teach about the life of Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, in order for them to draw inspiration from his example.

What is called ‘character building’ is in fact ‘nation building’ and vice versa.
