Pakistan, Indian border guards trade fire

LAHORE: Firing between Indian and Pakistan border guards deployed in the Shakargarh sector broke out again on Sunday evening after a lull of two days.

According to a spokesman for the Punjab Rangers, Indian Border Security Force opened fire on Pakistani positions with small and heavy weapons at around 8pm, which was returned by the Rangers.

The crossfire continued intermittently for quite some time.

However, no loss was reported.
