GWADAR: Security forces arrested 13 suspected militants from Kallag in Kolanch area of Gwadar district on Sunday.

Official sources said that security forces combed the area on information that militants were present there.

“Eleven people were taken into custody by the forces during the house-to-house search,” the sources said.

The suspects were identified as Bilal Ayub, Zohaib Mayar, Maula Bakhsh, Doshambay, Qadeer Yaqoob, Tauseef, Feroz, Ghafoor, Nekoo, Shamsi, Shadman and his two sons.

Meanwhile, unidentified men on a motorcycle shot dead a man at Pedrak in Shadi Kaur area of Kech District on Monday night.

Police identified the deceased as Nabi Dad Qadir Bakhsh. “It seems to be a case of targeted killing,” police said, adding that investigation into the matter was under way.
