THE Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, has been ranked 496th in the world among the 500 best global universities. On the other hand, five universities from India and as many Iranian universities are better ranked than QAU.

Pakistan needs adaptations and careful strategies in the education field to achieve a superior status.
