Rangers man hurt in Larkana cracker attack

LARKANA: Two motorcyclists tossed a firecracker into a kitchen of the Rangers hostel near the Government Degree College on Thursday night and escaped, sources said.

They said the improvised explosive device caused minor injuries to a lance naik of the paramilitary force. The firecracker was thrown into the kitchen from the back of the hostel, they added.

Immediately after the firecracker blew up, Rangers and police personnel began a search of the hostel and cleared it, the sources said.

The cracker attack took place within the jurisdiction of the Rehmatpur police station and till late at night no case of the incident was registered.
