FAISALABAD: Brick kiln workers staged a sit-in outside the DCO and commissioner offices on Friday demanding implementation of law on fixed wages.

The protesters staged a procession from Chenab intersection to District Council Chowk. They chanted slogans against the government for not assuring wages announced for kiln workers. They said the district government officers had assured them that kiln owners would be directed to follow government rules but no positive outcome was seen.
