Are we machines?

WITH every passing year, I have discovered that the FPSC is making the schedule of the competitive examinations more and more difficult so that few can pass it.

In February 2014, papers were held even on Sundays. In fact, candidates had to take six papers within three days. Some candidates had to appear for 12 papers within six days.

Why were there no gaps? Are we machines? We are definitely not! We are humans.

Such tough schedules not only undermine the performance of many candidates but also cause them severe anxiety and depression.

I request the FPSC not to design such tough schedules anymore. Besides, give us Sundays off so that we can relax our minds and feel fresh before appearing for the next paper(s).
