QUETTA: An elder of the Adozai tribe was gunned down along with his 13-year-old son in Chaman on Saturday. Another son of Malik Barrat Khan Adozai was injured in the attack.

According to police, Malik Adozai was going from his home in Killi Hassan to drop his two sons to school when unidentified men opened fire on his car near the Tablighi Markaz. He and his son Hikmatullah died, while 10-year-old Qudratullah was injured.

Police took the bodies and the injured to the district hospital. Levies official Zarak Khan Achakzai said the bodies were handed over to the family after legal formalities.

The elder brother of Malik Adozai had also been murdered about one and a half years ago after having been kidnapped. His body was found in the mountainous area of Boghara, near Chaman.
