Three bullet-riddled bodies found in Pishin

QUETTA: Levies, tribal-policing, found three bullet-riddled dead bodies from Pishin district, which borders with neighbouring Afghanistan on Friday.

A levies official, who requested anonymity, told Dawn.com that three dead bodies were found in Khanozai Tehsil of Pishin district. He said local people had earlier spotted the dead bodies in a mountainous area and then they informed the administration.

The bodies were yet to be identified and were shifted to a nearby hospital for postmortem.

“The victims have received multiple bullets from close range,” the levies official said.

Levies, police and personnel of other law enforcement agencies reached the spot as investigation into the incident went underway. There was no claim of responsibility for the killings.
