CDA retrieves land from Jhangi Syedan

ISLAMABAD: Enforcement Directorate of the CDA has retrieved two kanals and demolished two illegally-constructed houses during its operation against encroachments in Jhangi Syedan.

The teams of the Enforcement Directorate also demolished an animal shed and retrieved one kanal of the authority’s land from encroachers.

The staff of the Enforcement Directorate and Islamabad police carried out the operation, using heavy machinery.

During the operation, the CDA enforcement team faced retaliation and one person was arrested by the Islamabad police.

Special teams also removed encroachments from the parking lot of Melody Market.

The Enforcement Directorate also demolished illegally-constructed canopy in the open space of Zenose Restaurant and confiscated the encroached material.

Moreover, during different operations in Aabpara Market and I&T Centre and G-9/4 the team confiscated encroached material. CDA Chairman Maroof Afzal has directed continuation of the drive.
