BSF keeps targeting houses across border

SIALKOT: There was no let-up in Indian Border Security Force (BSF) aggression as it continued firing on Sialkot border villages for the third consecutive day on Friday.

According to senior officials of the Chenab Rangers, the BSF continued unprovoked firing in Charwah, Harpal, Bajwat and Shakargarh sectors of the Sialkot Working Boundary on Thursday night.

“The Indian bullets hit the houses of the local people and damaged many of those,” they said and added the Pakistani force retaliated in a befitting manner.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Rangers Director-General Maj-Gen Tahir Javaid Khan has said the armed forces have a full capability to defend the country.

He was presiding over a Sector Commanders’ Conference of the Chenab Rangers at the Pakistan Rangers Academy, Mandi Bahauddin.

Senior officials said professional aspects of the Chenab Rangers came under discussion. The commanders reviewed the current situation along the Sialkot Working Boundary.

Later, the DG inaugurated new block of the Rangers Public School and College in Mandi Bahauddin.
