RAWALPINDI: Gen Raheel Sharif, Chief of the Army Staff, who is currently on an official visit to Indonesia, met Commander in Chief of Indonesian Defence Forces, Gen Moeldoko, on Thursday.

The discussion focused on regional security issues, ties between the armies of the two countries and measures to further expand defence cooperation.

The two also discussed ways of benefiting from each other’s expertise in the field of counter-terrorism.
