AS an unusual phenomenon, public notices/advertisements were published by various banks for the information of customers that ATM service would be made available round-the-clock during Eid holidays.

Why during Eid holidays only? Banks are duty-bound to provide uninterrupted, round-the-clock and round-the-year service.
