Boy ‘murdered after rape’

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Police on Wednesday found the body of a missing teenager who was allegedly raped before being murdered by his unidentified killers.

Mustafa, 13, a resident of Khakhi (eastern), had left home six days back after being admonished by his parents over ‘indiscipline’.

When the boy didn’t return for several hours, his father and relatives, along with some locals launched a search for him but of no avail.

On Tuesday, Darahma police found the body of a teenager at a deserted place that was later identified by Mustafa’s father as his missing son’s. The police handed over the body to the victim’s parents after its autopsy.

Station House Officer Amar Yasir Dodai said in the light of circumstantial evidence it seemed the victim was tortured to death after being subjected to rape.

He said the autopsy report to be issued on Wednesday (today) would reveal further details of the crime.

A case had been registered against the unknown killers, he added.
