Army miss chance to go top

KARACHI: Pakistan Army missed the chance to move top of the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) table after being held to a goalless draw by Afghan FC at the Jinnah Stadium in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The draw meant Army moved to 11 points after five matches, two points behind Pakistan Air Force (PAF) who have played a game more and level on points with Karachi Port Trust (KPT) who have played six matches.

Afghan FC, meanwhile, have seven points after six matches, level with fifth-placed National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) but behind the bankers on goal difference.
