Rain, thunderstorm forecast for Pindi division

ISLAMABAD: Rain, thunderstorm is expected at isolated places of Rawalpindi division during the next 24 hours whereas mainly dry weather has been forecast in most parts of the country.

Met Office reported on Sunday that a western disturbance was prevailing over upper parts of the country and this was expected to persist during the next 24 hours.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the province, however, rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places of Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat and Bannu divisions.

Similarly, rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

The highest temperature recorded during the last 24 hours are Islamabad 29C, Lahore 31C, Karachi 38C, Peshawar 30C, Quetta 29C, Skardu 20C, Murree 20C, Muzaffarabad 28C, Gilgit 26C and Faisalabad 32C.
