Man kills wife, her ‘paramour’

DERA MURAD JAMALI: A man killed his wife and her alleged paramour in the name of honour in Baba Kot area of Nasirabad district on Thursday.

In another incident, two people were killed and another was injured in a road accident near Dhadar area of Kachhi district.

Police said Mohammad Babul allegedly opened fire on his wife and her alleged paramour Rafiq Ahmed in Baba Kot village in Nasirabad district.

Police said the victims received multiple bullet injuries and died on the spot.

Mohammad Babul escaped after the crime.

Police termed it a case of honour killing, but said investigation was under way to ascertain the exact cause of the attack.

Bodies were taken to the district hospital in Dera Murad Jamali and later handed over to heirs.

Meanwhile, two people were killed and another person was injured in a road accident on the Quetta-Sibi highway near Dhadar.

Police said three people were going to Sibi on a motorcycle when the bike went of control because of over-speeding and rammed against a roadside wall.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Zakir Rind and Naseer Ahmed Rind.

The injured, Sajid Ali Rind, was taken to the district hospital in Sibi.
