Licences of two drug companies suspended

ISLAMABAD: The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) on Wednesday suspended the licences of two firms for manufacturing spurious drugs and first-aid material.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of National Health Services, during a meeting chaired by Director Licensing and Quality Assurance A.Q. Javed Iqbal, it was also decided that permission for prosecution would be allowed against A-One Poultry Services, Maradan, which was involved in the manufacture and sale of spurious veterinary drugs.

Mr Iqbal identified the two companies, whose licences were suspended, as Euro Pharma Karachi and Dr Sethi Pharma Chichawatni.
