KHAIRPUR: A woman was killed and a driver of a motorcycle-rickshaw (Qingqi) was wounded when a freight train hit the tri-wheeler at an unauthorised crossing near here on Monday.

The Qingqi driver Ahmed Ali was taking the woman identified as Ms Shahul to Dargah Pir Katbar when they met with the accident.

The woman died on the spot while the injured driver was taken to taluka hospital Gambat.
