PESHAWAR: Nine people were killed and another was injured in a multiple vehicle pile-up in the Haripur district on Monday.

Police said a speeding car rammed into a truck on Haripur-Hasanabdal road in Daidan area, adding that the driver of another car lost control over the wheel and his vehicle also collided with the truck. The accident left nine people dead.

Police and local people took the injured to the hospital.—APP
