Army sends supplies for flood-hit people

RAWALPINDI: A consignment of five trucks containing 40 tons of relief goods was dispatched for the flood-stricken people on Sunday.

The consignment consisted of ration, bedding, utensils, medicines and other essential commodities.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, 29 relief collection points have been set up by the army in major cities, including three in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
