NAB reference against officials involved in illegal appointments

QUETTA: The National Accountability Bureau of Balochistan on Thursday filed a reference against four senior officers of the prosecution department for their alleged involvement in illegal recruitment of 22 employees on different posts. The 22 employees were also nominated in the reference.

A former secretary of the prosecution department, Musa Tareen, was arrested on March 28 and during investigation was found involved in illegal appointments.

Further investigations revealed that all rules and regulations were violated while making the 22 appointments, NAB officials said.

The reference was filed against former additional secretary Musa Tareen, deputy secretaries Naimatullah and Mohammad Rasheed, under secretary Mohammad Saeed Ashfaq and all the allegedly illegally appointed employees.
