KARACHI: Year 2015 has been declared as the tribute year for former Test cricketer Jalaluddin who is the most qualified coach in Pakistan.

This was announced by Nazim Saleem, Chief Collector Customs (Enforcement South) on the occasion of the certificate distribution ceremony of pace bowlers training camp, organised by the Customs Cricket Academy (CCA) recently.

Jalaluddin highlighted the main features of the training programme including the objective to organise it. He said that he wanted to prove that there is no dearth of pace bowlers in Karachi and said the event was a great success as few of them performed very well at the district level and were selected for the first time in the region.

She was rewarded for her great effort when she was picked for Pakistan women’s team for tour of Australia 2014 before she only participated at the district level.

Later, Chief Collector Nazim Saleem lauded the services of CCA for the development of players and the game in the city. He acknowledged the efforts of head coach Jalaluddin in this regard and praised him for taking the CCA to a high level. Khalil Masood who is the founder member of the Customs Cricket Academy, also spoke briefly on the occasion.
