Prawn Fritters with Lime and Garlic Mayo

Small clean prawns 2 cup chopped in small pieces,Gram flour or besan 1 cup,Dahi Bara Powder 1 cup,Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp,Red chili powder 1 tsp,Green chilies 1 tbsp fine chopped,Onion ½ cup fine chopped,Baking powder 1/2 tsp,Salt to taste,Water to make thick batter for fritters,Oil for deep frying,Lettuce (iceberg) for garnish.

Method

Combine gram flour, dahi bara powder, salt, red chili powder and some water to make thick smooth paste. Add rest of the ingredients and mix well. Heat oil and fry small size fritters (one heaped tsp) on medium heat, until puffed and golden. Arrange on chopped iceberg.

Lemon/lime garlic mayo

Mayonnaise ½ cup (good quality),Lemon juice ¼ cup,Garlic 1 tbsp freshly grated,Green chilies 1 tbsp very fine chopped,Sliced and Fried garlic for garnish 2 cloves.

Method

Combine all , garnish with fried garlic sliced, serve with fritters.
