Three killed in tribal fighting

DERA MURAD JAMALI: Three people were killed in a clash in Jhal Magsi on Sunday. An incident of firing in Machh town left a man dead and another injured.

Levies officials said three people were killed when two groups of Magsi tribe fought each other in Goth Chandarama. Heavy weapons were used by both sides during the clash.

The deceased were identified as Nabi Bakhsh, Ghulam Rasool and Khan Mohammad. The bodies were shifted to the district hospital.

The cause of the clash could not be ascertained. Heavy contingents of security forces were deployed in the area to avert further violence.

In New Adda area of Machh town, one Yar Mohammad Kurd was shot dead by unidentified attackers. The firing left one Ghulam Nabi injured. Police said the murder was the outcome of an old enmity.

Meanwhile, gunmen kidnapped one Hazar Khan in Goth Ghulam Rasool area of Nasirabad district.
