Following Gandhi

Imran Khan has announced a civil disobedience movement in Pakistan and has asked his supporters to stop paying taxes.

On the one hand, he claims he wants to build the Quaid’s Pakistan, and, on the other, he opts for actions that were severely disapproved by the Quaid-i-Azam.

The Quaid, unlike Gandhi, never started a civil disobedience or non cooperation movement.

The PTI is the ruling party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which is severely afflicted by the ongoing war against terrorism. Will

the KPK government, also start a non-cooperation movement and stop collecting and paying taxes to the state?

The course Mr Khan has chosen is dangerous for the existence of Pakistan. Does he want all Pakistanis to believe that the PML-N government is worse than the British Raj? He has blamed everyone from the former chief justice to the former army chief, and the media and returning officers. He has blamed every politician except those who are his allies.

What kind of Pakistan does he want to build with these accusations is beyond comprehension?
