BSF, Rangers exchange fire

LAHORE: Fresh crossfire between Indian Border Security Force and Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) was reported from Charwa sector of Sialkot on Sunday with no casualty or damage.

A Rangers spokesman claimed firing with light weapons was initiated by the BSF along the working boundary at around 8:45pm and Rangers responded in the same manner.

He said though no casualty or property loss was reported, but the exchange of fire continued until the filing of this report.
