PESHAWAR: Two soldiers were killed when an Impro­vised Explosive Device (IED) went off near Afghan border in North Waziristan Agency on Thursday.

In a statement, Inter-Services Public Relations confirmed the deaths and said the incident occurred in Ghulam Khan area.

Name of the deceased were not disclosed.
