University rankings

I suggest that both the federal and provincial governments must evolve a detailed strategy to raise the standard of education.

IT is a pity that a recent survey reported that universities of Pakistan failed to occupy any position either in the 100 universities of South Asia or the 400 universities of the world.

I only quote one example of Singapore which has 5.7m population and whose literacy rate is nearly 100pc, while its research and development is at the top in the world. My question to all stakeholders is: why can’t Pakistan achieve this status?
