MITHI: A young woman, who was shot and seriously wounded allegedly by her husband on Monday in Jhanjhi village of Chhachhro tehsil, died in a hospital on Tuesday.

Sikandar Jhanji, the father of the victim, Neelam Janjhi, 25, told police and the media that her husband, Fida Jhanjhi, had strong reservations over her doing a job and on Monday, he shot and seriously wounded her.

The suspect was booked for the murder.
