QUETTA: A gas pipeline was blown up in Dera Bugti area on Saturday, Levies officials said.

Unidentified men attached explosives to the 16-inch diameter pipeline feeding a purification plant the Pirkoh and detonated it.

“The blast damaged a part of the pipeline, disrupting supply to the purification plant,” they added.

Security personnel cordoned off the area and were tracing the suspects.
