Probe into AG office rumpus

ISLAMABAD: The Auditor General of Pakistan, Mohammad Akhtar Buland Rana, has set up a fact-finding committee to determine causes of rumpus in the offices of AG Punjab, Lahore, on June 27.

The committee will comprise Javaid Jehangir and Naghmana Shaikh, said a press release issued by the Auditor General of Pakistan on Thursday.

The committee will find out motives behind the untoward incident and why doors of some offices were broken and officers acted like hooligans as was shown by the media, forcing the AG Punjab to relinquish his charge.
