Four bodies recovered from Karachi's Baldia Town

KARACHI: Four bodies bearing torture marks were recovered from Karachi’s Baldia Town area on Monday, DawnNews reported.

According to police, the bodies were recovered from Baldia Town’s Raees Goth area.

The victims were blindfolded and their bodies bore torture marks and gunshot wounds.

Nine MM shells were also discovered near the bodies.

The victims could not be identified immediately.

Their bodies were shifted to a hospital for postmortem.

Karachi is riddled with targeted killings, gang wars, kidnappings for ransom, extortion and terrorism. Targeted operations led by Rangers’ forces with the support of police are ongoing in the city under a directive issued by the federal government against criminals already identified by federal, military and civilian agencies.
