LAHORE: Pakistan will participate in the International Judo Grand Prix being held in Budapest, Hungary on June 21-22.

The event also serves as a qualifying round for the 2016 Olympics to be staged in Rio de Janeiro .

The Pakistan Judo Federation has applied to the interior minister and the Inter-provincial Ministry for issuance of the NOC to take part in the Budapest competition, a spokesman of the federation said.
