Union threatens to stop Quetta water supply

QUETTA: The Workers Union of Water and Sanitation Authority (Wasa) threatened on Wednesday that water supply to citizens would be suspended if employees were not paid their salaries immediately.

Union president Haji Bashir Ahmed said at a press conference that workers called off their strike on April 16 after an assurance in an agreement signed with the minister concerned that salaries would be paid within a week.
